Reap & Sow / Terms and conditions
Terms and conditions
The rules for using this website and for booking hunts and pest control work with Reap & Sow.
Last updated: 24 August 2026
1. Acceptance
These terms are an agreement between you and Reap & Sow. By using pigmist.com, submitting a form, booking a call, or hiring us, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the site or our services.
2. What we do
We provide guided feral hog hunts on private property in Texas, and feral hog removal and farm pest control services for landowners. Descriptions, packages and prices on this site are an invitation to enquire, not a binding offer. Nothing is booked until we confirm it with you directly.
3. Bookings, deposits and payment
- Dates are held only once we confirm them and any required deposit is paid.
- Prices shown are per the package described and exclude licences, ammunition, processing, gratuities and anything else we have not listed in writing.
- Balances are due as stated in your confirmation. We may cancel a booking that is not paid on time.
- Quoted removal contracts set out their own scope, term and billing schedule, which control if they conflict with this page.
4. Cancellation, rescheduling and weather
- Tell us as early as you can if you need to move a date. We will do our best to reschedule.
- Deposits may be non-refundable inside the notice period stated in your confirmation, because we hold ground and crew for you.
- We may cancel or move a hunt for unsafe weather, wildfire risk, flooding, property access problems or anything else outside our control. If we cancel, you may reschedule or receive a refund of amounts paid for the cancelled outing.
- No-shows are treated as cancellations without notice.
5. Eligibility, safety and conduct
Hunting with us requires that you:
- Are of legal age, or are a minor accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult who accepts these terms for you.
- Follow all firearm safety rules and every instruction your guide gives you. The guide has final say on the ground.
- Are not under the influence of alcohol or any drug that impairs judgement or coordination at any point while firearms are present.
- Handle, transport and use firearms and ammunition lawfully and safely.
- Respect the property, the livestock, the gates, the equipment and the landowner.
We may end a hunt immediately and without refund if you break these rules or behave in a way we judge unsafe.
6. Assumption of risk
Hunting and being on working agricultural land are inherently dangerous activities. Risks include firearm discharge, moving vehicles and machinery, uneven ground, water, fences, weather, darkness, wildlife, livestock, insects, snakes and the actions of other people. You take part voluntarily and accept those risks.
You will be asked to sign a separate liability release and assumption of risk agreement before any hunt. That signed document, not this web page, governs the release between us.
7. Landowner obligations
If you engage us for removal work on your property, you agree that you own the property or have the legal authority to allow the work; that you will tell us about known hazards, livestock, other people with access and any underground or overhead utilities; that you will provide reasonable access; and that the information you give us about the property is accurate.
8. No guarantee of results
Feral hogs are wild animals. We cannot and do not guarantee that you will see or harvest a hog on any given outing, or that any particular number of animals will be removed from a property in a given period, unless a written contract says otherwise. Statistics on this site, including damage figures and the illustrative cost tables, are published estimates and models offered for general information. They are not a prediction about your property and not a promise of any outcome.
9. Licences and compliance
You are responsible for holding any licence or permit the law requires of you and for complying with all applicable Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and other legal requirements. Rules change. Verify current requirements yourself. Information about the law on this site is general information, not legal advice.
10. Our content
The text, video, photography, logos, marks and design on this site belong to Reap & Sow or our licensors and are protected by copyright and trademark law. You may view and share links to the site. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or use our content commercially without our written permission.
11. What you send us
If you send us photos, reviews, or other material, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use it to promote the business, and you confirm you have the right to give us that permission. Do not send us anything confidential or anything belonging to someone else.
12. Apparel orders
Apparel is made to order in limited runs. Sizes, colours and availability can change. We will confirm price, availability and delivery before taking payment. Returns and exchanges on unworn, unwashed items are handled case by case, contact us within 30 days of delivery.
13. Third-party services
Our booking calendar and some other functions are provided by third parties and are subject to their terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for their services or for other websites we link to.
14. Disclaimer
The website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error free or secure.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Reap & Sow and its owners, employees, guides and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or business interruption, arising out of the site or our services. Our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
16. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Reap & Sow harmless from claims, damages, losses and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these terms, your violation of any law, or your acts or omissions during a hunt or on a property.
17. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains what we collect and how we use it, including how we store your details in our CRM and how we call, text and email you. It forms part of these terms.
18. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts. Before filing anything, please contact us so we can try to resolve it directly.
19. General
If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These terms, together with any written service contract and signed release, are the entire agreement between us. You may not assign them without our consent.
20. Changes
We may update these terms. The "last updated" date shows when. Continuing to use the site or our services after a change means you accept the updated terms.
